We chatted with Maddie, Alexa, Summer, Brooke and Samantha who were excited to share their thoughts on iTAN and the many perks that come along with being part of the iTAN team.
1. How did your career start at iTAN?
Maddie, iTAN Poway
My career at iTAN Poway started completely by surprise. I went in for my first spray tan ever, and saw they were hiring. After speaking with a salon consultant about the position and the team, I knew it would be the perfect fit for me! I applied that night, was hired by the end of the week, and am now (two years later) the assistant salon director for iTAN Poway!
2. What’s your favorite thing about working at iTAN?
Alexa, iTAN Oceanside
My favorite thing about working at iTAN is the customers! When clients come into our salon at iTAN Oceanside, I love forming relationships with them and proving to them we are trustworthy and care about their Sun, Spray & Spa needs. It makes my day when a client comes in and we are able to help them achieve their optimum tanning goals, making them look good and feel confident!
3. What’s your go-to product and service?
Summer, iTAN Point Loma
My go-to product definitely is Designer Skin’s Visionary (intensifier) and Bombshell (tingle). I like to switch off between the two products so I don’t reach a plateau. My favorite service at our salon would be one of our Sun Plus building beds. It gives me such great color!
4. If you can describe your experience working at iTAN in three words, what would they be?
Brooke, iTAN Poway
The three words I would use to describe working at iTAN Poway are: innovative, enlightening and growth. Those three words are the perfect description of my position at the salon. I’ve learned so many new, creative ideas by working at iTAN, including how to work with a team, communicating properly, motivating others and so much more. I’ve learned so much more than I could’ve ever imagined working at my salon with my team. I know that working at iTAN, there is always so much room for growth. Starting here has been an experience I am extremely grateful for.
5. What piece of advice would you give to someone who is interested in applying for a position at iTAN?
Samantha, iTAN Winchester
I truly believe that working at iTAN Winchester was one of the most empowering things I’ve done for myself in my young adult years. iTAN is full of wonderful young men and women that want the absolute best for you and will push you to be the best.
