I periodically go in and I’ve never had a problem.Easy in and easy out. I did purchase my own goggles when I use the tanning bed. But I also use the spray tan booth as well. I did notice that there are no more towels so I grab a few baby wipes off the shelf before I go in.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at iTAN Sun Spray Spa in Santee! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and appreciated. Amanda and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helped me choose the perfect treatment for my skin type. The tanning sun beds are top of the line and very comfortable. The spa itself is clean, modern, and exudes a calming ambiance. I'll definitely be returning for more sessions. This place is beautiful and the service was great. However, the reason I came in was because I was fortunate and got a surprise birthday gift from my uncle to go to Florida.(thankfully on him as I can’t afford it.) and it’s only seven days away so I really wanted to get a tan before going. I honestly can’t afford to do this either but it’s necessary lol for sure so I was so happy and excited to see that I could do your one week free trial as I have not ever been there before and it’s this one week especially that I need but if I love it will definitely come, but was then told that I apparently had a spray tan nine years ago with you guys and couldn’t do that trial. To be honest, I was going to Perfect Tan as I was able to tan for a month for 40 bucks unlimited and ended up spending 79,99 $23 1299 to be able to tan basically for a week, no matter how nice nicer places I probably won’t return because of this. Nine years ago? And it was a one time spray tan. I was really impressed when I walked in and saw how beautiful your place wasn’t how very friendly your staff was but wasn’t very happy when I left and then I was only able to tan for five minutes, which did nothing. I’m kind of bummed but actually it is you that should be bummed because you lost a customer. I will do what I said I would do only because I’m so short on time but I won’t be back.

Review Update - they cleaned up the nozzles for the Versa spray tan. It's night and day difference. The district manager was very professional and got their techs in to clean out the clogged up lines.Previous review: I like this location - it's clean and staff are friendly, BUT the spray tan machines are old and not maintained well. I've been here probably 20 times and there were a few times when I didn't see any difference with the spray tan and other times when it was wildly uneven on my body. I do not recommend this location for spray tans - other ITan locations (Hillcrest) have better equipment and it's night and day difference. Wish they would fix this - it's really annoying/upsetting.

Still a good way to get a base tan quick for an event. Bring your own Eyewear (since COVID) if you want some of their complementary water make sure to bring your own cup or bottle. Good service and knowledgeable associates.Yes they have spray tan too.

I once meet the owner of this place as I am barber and I got to cut his hair and chit chat a little really cool guy shared his inspiring life story of how he came to this country and with the right woman by his side he ones up his tanning shop which over years became an empire !Anyhow great locations great tanning booths and friendly people in the front .

I had been to Itan Hillcrest many years ago and remembered how friendly the staff was. I’m going on vacation and wanted to get some sun before I went. There’s another Itan closer to me but I went back to Hillcrest. All the ladies there are so friendly and made me feel so welcomed. I really enjoy going to i-Tan in Eastlake but unfortunately compared to other i-Tan salons this particular salon has fewer amenities, possibly due to the size of the building. It’s in. Hopefully improvements on the tanning beds and stand ups will improve

Free Parking. You can park in the Ralph's park lot if all else fails but I have never had to do that, they have 20 minute spots in front of the location and I'm in there for less than that.It's a small location but they have everything.

All of the girls that work at ITan in El Cajon are do amazing. I used to go to I Tan in LA Mesa was such an unpleasant experience everytime I went. I can't find one bad thing about the El Cajon store. I think all the girls deserve something special for there absolutely amazing and professional human beings they are.

I had the BEST experience yesterday! Before I start, I would like to say that Bridget was just the best! She really made my visit super fun! I highly recommend ITan’s Santee store, it is amazing! The space is spotless, the staff is knowledgeable, polite and provide excellent customer service. ITan offers a plethora of tanning options to fit just about any skin type. Whether you want a lightly sun kissed look or a deeper “week at the beach” look, the Tanologists at ITan will help you achieve your desired look. When I walked into this salon not sure what to expect I was greeted by a salon tech named TAYLOR. She was so friendly and accommodating.I did not feel that vibe like most salons that pushy trying to sell you the moon vibe. She was extremely knowledgeable with all of the products as well as tanning techniques that would fit my skin tones etc…It actually felt like we were family. I have been going to the Itan in Carlsbad semi-consistently for almost 2 years now. The staff there have always been extremely friendly and helpful whenever I have any questions or concerns. I've been coming to Itan in Poway for a year, and it's literally my home away from home. I'm a dedicated spa user and have been to MANY Itans in the area. Trust me. This location is, by far, the best. You'll get a solid education in products, immaculate & relatively peaceful experience, and top-notch technology for skin health, especially with the Fit Bodwrap, my go-to for detox. The staff is outstanding; the most caring, sweet, and well-informed group of young women cycle through this location, which sets an example for other locations in the franchise. The new manager Sophia is fantastic; Courtney, Tess, Caroline & Sydney are awesome, and the former manger, Capri, was also outstanding. Hard to believe they are almost all teenagers, because the place is run better than most corporations! Truly a model of customer service. Love this community gem and the staff!

After having issues at the Vista location, I contacted the San Marcos location to speak with a manager (since one was not present in Vista). I was delighted to speak with Serra and find out everything Vista said they couldn’t do, San Marcos said was possible. I went directly to San Marcos and was able to apply my $200 gift card to a two month unlimited membership. Vista was only going to give me 6 sessions. Serra was amazing and knowledgeable and made you feel like they wanted your business, unlike my experience at the Vista location. I highly recommend at least signing up at the San Marcos location even if you live closer to Vista. Thank you Serra for making my day!

What can I say, these girls are AMAZING. I go to Itan all around San Diego and the results are at best randomly positive. The beds are inconsistent and the bulbs do t seem to be that strong or new. And most importantly the girls are that fake nice that is insincere and makes you not want to go to that location. This Santee location is FABULOUS 😍. First of all these ladies are all 100% sweet, kind, and totally helpful. I love going in because I know my spray tan will be even and turn out great, and the bulbs are newer and strong quality. And most of all the employees are kind and genuine! I have purchased a lot of product not just because I had too, because they are so good at their jobs and wanted to help support them in their sales journey! I love them and they always remember my name(after only visiting once they would remember so impressive). I Adore every single one of these Beautiful Humans and go out of my way Just to make it into this specific location! I live in carlsbad and in North County San Diego you expect this quality of service and professionalism and excellent customer service, but rarely see it. Now if only I could move the entire staff to Carlsbad and the business I'd be happy! But I guess until then, whenever I'm staying at my BFs house, I'll just have to keep swinging by😁👌👍 he knows to ask now when I'm coming over "you stopping at the spa first hunnies?" Haha 😆....I call it the spa because I use the red light therapy, body fit wrap, and full body light/shake machine(where I do my ab workouts and lunges) I have the top package with spa options. So it's like going to the spa but easier. Anyways, I give them 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and thank you to all the ladies who make an effort there everyday CONSISTENTLY! They are open the latest 10 pm.That's perfect unlike the other itans. Keep in mind that u can't use the hydration station or the body fit wrap after like 7 pm, but still better than others that close earlier.I used the baby soft mask tonight the girls recommended at $16. It's worth it , and u can save it for next time to get the most out of your itan experience.I liked the Versa 4 step for self tanning. And the photo facial is great for wrinkles.All in all the package of unlimited everything is the best package. I have a mile long list of great things to say about this establishment, and not one single complaint. Not only are they clean, up to date with their equipment, packing some seriously awesome discounts and memberships (do one of the iClub monthly tanning packages with the Tanology lotion monthly membership, at an oh so low cost of $10/month for a lotion packet EVERY time you tan, and thank me later for all the $$ you save on tanning lotion bottles! All while reaping the benefits of trying the best tanning lotions I’ve ever used…ahem… the Tanology DHA packets are my favorite go-to), but they can also boast to having one of the most friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staffs I have encountered in my 30-something years on this spinning rock we call Earth. In particular I want to mention Rose, who could totally double as my therapist as well! Not only did she graciously let me crash and use a bed just before closing on several occasions, but she listened with genuine concern and understanding as I unloaded the troubles of navigating the handling of an estate when both your parents have passed suddenly and you find yourself wading neck deep in financial dealings you’ve never even heard of previously. I can’t thank her for her kindness and for lending an ear when even I had no clue how badly I needed it. This is your spot if you want to be treated like family! I know I won’t go anywhere else going forward!!

I went in for my first tanning and teeth whitening experience yesterday, and I absolutely loved the experience. The whole place was clean, organized, and everything was easy to use and understand. The staff there was friendly and helpful - especially Hannah, who walked me through every option and even how to use the machines. She made me feel comfortable with the services I was getting, and recommended some awesome products. I'm so excited to start my tanning membership, and would definitely recommend iTan - Oceanside to anyone wanting to start tanning or spa services. I can't wait to go back!

Came in mothers day around 2pm. The young ladies were great saleswomen, and very educated in spray tanning. I started with a spray tan and can't appreciate Itan enough for the wonderful free tan to moms. I likely will not proceed with a membership, so I wanted to leave a nice comment.The tan came out great, and still looks the same as when I got it. One thing I wish tanning machines had, was an option to not spray the face. People with more mature skin typically use make up as it seeps into wrinkles and defines them more. Other than this tiny con, my experience was 5 star :)

I used to have a membership at this location & I stopped mostly because I didn’t feel appreciated. I came back after about 8 months and I can’t even tell you how awesome it is with this group of young ladies. Justine the manager is perfection & should be cloned for the natural & effortlessly way she works with the clients and coworkers. Clean place. I will be back to this location. Supposedly new owner as of "right before coronavirus hit" 🐸((🍵)) country music is king here 🎧but no place to sit and wait here for the husbands. Parking spot is right up front tho. There is a bathroom here. I felt like I wasn't shown ALL the services here when we spoke about the membership deal. There aren't any pictures of the services available with prices inside at all. I like the Starbucks layout where I can walk in and see what is what ,before I order. The women up front were very polite and informative. I kind of felt bad that they had to repeat themselves to the different customers but with the coronavirus and all there is now a new type of breed of people who desire to come to a spa for fun since there isn't a ton of places available to go now days.

Great place to get a tan. There are many locations, usually no wait, except at the smaller locations (La Costa). Beds seem to be well maintained. Now with Covid and all the restrictions, you just need to own your own goggles and bring a towel if you need.

I love this place! Besides the obvious tanning beds I love the beauty angel vibrating platform, I swear this has helped decrease my cellulite so much! I also love the photo facial which I've noticed has helped my skin and pore size. I have also used the detox wrap which is relaxing when you're in there and helps you get rid of excess immediately. I lost an entire pound after the first session! The girls there are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Lauren in particular is super sweet and very customer service oriented. I have gone into other locations but this one is my favorite because of their attention, care, and positive attitudes!

Not just for tanning! I use the spa services mostly the photo facial and fit wrap and not so much the tanning equipment. The staff are super friendly and the place is always clean. The prices are a great deal and I have been going to this location off and on for the past 5 years. The only drawback is the equipment seems like it is getting old and the hydration machine had a hole/crack in the lid. Hopefully they will up grade some of the equipment soon . I am so glad they have been open during the closure of so many businesses.

This place is wonderful. It is run by young people which usually makes me cringe because most young people today know nothing about customer service and are rude, lazy, and entitled. Well not this group of charming, ambitious, professional, brainiacs. These kids are on it. The are polite, helpful, knowledgeable. The spa is clean and impeccable. It has a very high end atmosphere, which has a lot to do with how they treat you. Definitely not the demographic, but they skillfully overcome that. I might as well be in L.A. when I'm in there (lived ther for thirty years). The spa is beautiful and the staff, led by Maran is top notch. Look here for your next CEO'S and success stories!

I just want to say that I come to iTAN Oceanside every day. My favorite girl that works there her name is Genesis and she’s so kind every time. She always guides me in the right direction to help me keep my tan nice and strong and beautiful because it’s hard to be 30. Management willing to work with me when I was unable to use my membership due to surgeries that I had. They have been so understanding and flexible. I am still a member and the value is great as I can use their facility at my convenience. I personally like the hot wrap and hydro bed as they help to relieve my arthritis pain and I lose a couple of inches in the process. Management team and staff are professional and always pleasant and easy to work with. I mostly use the Encinitas facility.

I’m a fan of the spa service called “fit bodywrap” which has you getting in a onesie and then climbing under a 120-130 degree blanket. You have the room to yourself for 70 min, so I like to meditate, daydream, watch tv, etc. I enjoy using heat to keep my metabolism up, sweat out toxins, relax the muscles. Now I don’t have to find an infrared sauna! Your sweat stays inside the suit so the room stays cool and clean. Many rooms have an open top, so it does feel private but you can still hear the noise of opening and closing beds, doors, people walking about.

In particular there are two girls, Molly and Samantha, they have great customer service skills and are incredibly kind. Today was my first time EVER being spray tanned. I called before to get some pricing and a little bit more information on the spray tans, and pricing. Courtney answered and gave me all of the information I was looking for an more! I went in about an hour later and got to meet courtney in person. She showed me everything they had to offer and what my best options were. I decided to go with some fancy spray tan machine (super affordable and easy) and courtney spent the time to explain exactly what I needed to do to get the perfect tan. Although this location doesn't have all the services I would like such as the hydration station, the staff more than makes up for it in customer service. My first visit to this store was when I was a new customer. I only had gym clothes and a mobile payment which didn't work to start my membership. Micah, the wonderful woman behind the counter still let me do a tanning session and allowed me to come the following day to officially begin my membership. She was very nice and understanding. I just got into town from Utah for work. Wanted to get this pale skin a tan and found this place. Reed was working and me not being a seasoned tanner explained everything to me and the different lotions. I have to say I was very pleased with the whole experience and will definitely come back while in town. Thank you very much Reed you were awesome!

I recently started coming here to this location a few months back. So this review is long over due. The girls that work here are always smiling upon greeting and are super friendly. Lexi runs the store like a pro and the place is always clean and if one bed is taken another one is always ready. It's always fun coming here!

This place was phenomenal!! I have been to almost if not every itan that is in California and all I have to say is “wow” these gals treat you like you are a guest in their home. I want to thank all three of them for finally treating me like I am somebody. Micah, Davian’s and Amanda. They even treated my dog nice ( service animal). The place was clean. All in all just a very up lifting extra 💜.

My sister in law and I came in yesterday April 13th, 2018. We were greeted by smiling facing even though they were very busy! We were helped by Kayla, Sara, and another gal. They were awesome, they gave us great advice, helped us set up our first sessions, and we wipl definitely be returning! The beds were awesome, loves the fans and music! Can't wait to become a regular here!

I will personally give this place 5 stars! I can hands down say this place was amazing and continued to go their for 3years. They always have deals and discounts, military friendly and military discounts! As I read sum of the other reviews, I can probably pin point or figure that sum of it has happened. I mean I only had one issue, this one male working their awhile ago this was, and he was tremendously late to open; which has me and two others waiting and they left. Other then that, the girls are great, sum yeah will have their days but in all else no problems and they’re all sweet and funny! I’d definitely suggest just going full VIP and use everything they have. They have a lot to offer and a lot of it does benefit like the beauty angle and the fit wrap, etc. I wish they can become bigger, and get more space, but they do have great quality in their beds, lotions and sprays(never been orange!)Love you iTAN Team! Excellent service provided today during the Annual Sale by Phoebe and Jordan!! The ladies are knowledgeable of they’re products and services. They are welcoming and keep a very clean salon. I was initially impressed with they’re exemplary customer service to everyone that walked into the salon. I have yet to experience a better deal, or level of comfort than I have at this salon! Thank you itan!! I can't say enough about this place. I came from a salon where I had a monthly membership of the same price and had unlimited tanning to all the beds yes and I could airbrush as well, but for the same amount here at itan they offer spa services like lumiere redlight treatment facials, fit wraps sessions, teeth whitening, spray booths, as well as tanning beds. I love how the staff remember my name, Jordan is great about that! Laura just gave me an amazing airbrush and all of their services are unlimited. It's the perfect affordable "me time". I highly recommend itan and suggest just stopping by and seeing what they have to offer!

I love iTan! Their deals are better than any other salon, they're always running specials. It's very clean in the lobby and in the rooms. The employees are always nice and friendly. They make recommendations when needed and are amazing. On my first visit I was given a tour of the salon and all of their beds/booths, they explained all of their services with detail. It was wonderful. It's usually pretty quiet and relaxing.

I've been going to this Salon in Del Mar for 4 years. The beds are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have great promotions regularly. Highly recommended!! The level 6 bed is a incredibly relaxing experience and a superior tan without burning.

Have been coming here for about 4 years. Love the beds, the girls are always friendly and the salon is always clean. Just one note, the shelves and hooks for the client to rest their possessions are not fixed in a timely manner when they break. It causes the client to sometimes have to put their items on the floor.

I love the La Costa location so much! The girls are so sweet and helpful! I definitely recommend getting on an iclub too because you get so many discounts and every month there are new discounts specifically for iclub members. iTan always have the best beds and lotions too. I am going on a trip and decided I wanted to get a real tan, my friend told me about this place and I am so glad that I went! I went in thinking I wanted to tan only a few times but I fell in love with my color and decided to get a membership, which is so affordable. The beds are clean and the staff is really nice. This is by far my favorite iTan location! The girls there are amazing and super sweet. They're always so willing to help out and answer whatever questions I may have. I got my membership for fairly cheap. Their lotion, like most, are overpriced. I wish they had a monthly discount on a bottle or two. I tanned for two months and really didnt feel like I got much of a tan. It's a nice facility and super sweet staff.
